Open Memory Request Dialogs
You can also open the Core Display dialog from within the Keep, Auto Data, and Session views. When one or all of these views are available, you can use a set of memory request dialogs to access the Core Display dialog and its fields.
To open memory request dialogs
- Select Window, Show Views, and click any Data view you want to display.
- Right-click any row on the view and select one of the following to perform an appropriate action:
- Go to File—Positions to the line where the highlighted variable is defined in the program listing.
- Remove from view—Removes the selected item from the view.
- Change value—Lets you change the value of a selected item using the Change Value dialog.
- Expand Array—Displays all elements in the highlighted variable array using the Expand Array dialog.
- Memory Dump—Displays the Core Display dialog and positions at the starting address of the highlighted item. The caption on the Core Display dialog indicates the name of the variable.
- Core Expression Selector dialog—Displays the Core Expression dialog showing a selection of keywords and expressions for display of memory.
