Import Resources into CA InterTest
You can import files of the following extensions, *.ent, *.intertest, *.macrodef, *.prefs, *.properties, *.txt, and *.xml from a source directory in your computer into CA InterTest.
To import file systems
- Select File, Import.
The Import dialog opens.
- Expand the General folder.
- Select File System and click Next.
The Import dialog opens the File system page.
- Click Browse.
The Import from directory dialog opens.
- Locate and select the project folder from which you want to import files.
- Click OK to exit the dialog.
The selected project folder is displayed in a tree view.
- Do one of the following to select which file system to import:
- Click the check boxes corresponding to the required file systems.
- Click File Types to filter the files based on their file types. The Select Types dialog opens. Click the check boxes corresponding to the file types to filter and click OK.
- Click Select All to select all available file systems to download.
Note: Click Deselect All to clear all selected file systems and start a new selection.
- Click Browse.
The Import into folder dialog opens.
- Locate and select the project folder into which you want to store the files.
- Click OK to exit the dialog.
- Select one of the following methods to store the selected files:
- Overwrite existing resources without warning—Specifies a single-click to select a resource and a double-click to open that resource in an editor.
- Create complete folder structure—Specifies hovering the mouse over a resource to select it and single-clicking on the resource to open it in an editor.
- Create selected folders only—Specifies using the arrow keys to select a resource and automatically opening it in an editor.
Default: Overwrite existing resources without warning
- Click Finish.
The InterTest Debug view refreshes to display the imported file system.
