Set Accessibility Preferences

You can set the accessibility settings using the Preferences dialog. The accessibility settings affect the use of different carets in text editors.

To set accessibility preferences for text editors

1. Select Window, Preferences.

   The Preferences dialog opens.

2. Expand General, Editors, Text Editors and select Accessibility.

   The Preferences dialog opens the Accessibility page.

3. Change the default settings for the following fields to suit your needs:
   • Use custom caret

     Uses the default custom caret for Overwrite and Insert modes.

     Default: On

   • Enable thick caret

     Specifies thick caret for Overwrite and Insert modes.

     Default: On

     Note: CA InterTest does not support the Use characters to show changes in vertical ruler option.

4. Click Apply to save the settings.
5. Click OK.
