Main Toolbar

Icons on the toolbar are shortcuts for frequently used commands on a menu. Use the following icons on this toolbar to create a new server connection, create batch and CICS projects, and import programs.

Note: Commands or tools specified with an asterisk (*) are available only if you have licensed and installed those features and if you have the required level of authorization.

Description

A toolbar icon for printing an active program listing.

Prints the content of the active program in the Program Listing area.

An icon for creating a batch project

*Creates a new batch project using the New Batch Project dialog.

An icon for creating a CICS project

*Creates a new CICS project using the New CICS Project dialog.

An icon ( a green bug) to start a debug session.

Initiates the debug process for the project highlighted in the InterTest Debug view.

A toolbar icon for debugging IMS/DC transactions and DB2 stored procedures.

*Lets you debug IMS/DC transactions and DB2 stored procedures in the same mainframe address space as transactions and procedures that are running unmonitored.

An icon for listing a batchlink queue

*Lists the pending jobs in the CA InterTest batch link queue for a selected server connection. You can choose the server connection using the Select Job from Batch Link Queue dialog.

A toolbar icon for loading PROTSYM files into a batch or CICS project

Loads a program listing from a z/OS data set to a PROTSYM data set.

An icon for importing PROTSYM files into a project

Imports files from a PROTSYM data set into a batch or CICS project.

A toolbar icon to add a new server connection

Adds a new connection to the server using the New Server Connection dialog.
