Sorting Column data in Data Window

To sort data from a column of an object, click on the Column Header section of the column on which you want to sort data.

Steps

  1. Browse an object from Data Source Explorer, ensure that the object has enough data to perform this operation. Initially data of any column will not be in any particular sort order. E.g.

  2. Click on the Column Header of the column that you wish to sort, once header is clicked the sort icon will be displayed on the header indicating the sort order along with this background color of that column is also changed to indicate the column is sorted

    3. Reference to highlight sorting icon

  3. Down arrow indicates data is sorted in Ascending Order, Up Arrow indicates data is sorted in Descending Order
  4. First Click on Header will sort data in Ascending Order, Second Click will sort data in Descending Order and Third Click will remove sorting and displays data in its Original Order
