Overview

CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS is a DB2 data manipulation and testing tool for application developers. You can browse and edit DB2 data from an Eclipse (GUI) interface or from z/OS ISPF interface. CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS Eclipse UI is a workstation alternative for the traditional mainframe interface.

You can install Eclipse UI on a Windows computer as an application or as a plug-in to Eclipse-integrated development environment (IDE).

CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS contains a powerful set of utility functions for editing, browsing, copying and maintaining DB2 data. Using the Eclipse UI you can do the following tasks:

• Access data from multiple subsystems simultaneously.
• Browse and edit data from DB2 objects through an easy to use graphical user interface.
• Use filter selection criteria to refine search results on DB2 objects.
• Access data from multiple tables simultaneously.
• Commit or roll back a set of data changes to the database.
