Data Types

CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS supports only the following data types:

• CHAR

  Default: Blank

• VARCHAR

  Default: Blank

• SMALLINT

  Default: 0

• INTEGER

  Default: 0

• BIGINT

  Default: 0

• FLOAT

  Default: 0

• DECIMAL

  Default: 0.0

• DATE

  Default: Current date.

• TIME

  Default: Current time

  Note: ISO (International Standards Organization), USA, (IBM USA standard), EUR (IBM European standard) and JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) formats are supported for DATE and TIME data types.

• TIMESTMP

  Default: Current timestamp

• TIMESTZ

  Default: Current timestamp with the time zone
