The MQ page displays information about WebSphere for MQ calls that are detected during the monitoring period. Each row indicates the active and wait time for a specific queue manager.

The MQSeries page displays information about WebSphere for MQ calls that are detected during the monitoring period. Each row indicates the active and wait time for a specific queue manager.

Menu commands available in this view include:

  • Code Details
    Displays the activity detected by CA Mainframe Application Tuner for each CSECT, Module or Pseudo group associated with an MQ request.

  • Queue Manager Info
    Displays detailed information about the selected queue manager.

  • Queue Activity
    Displays the activity of each queue used by the application, within the selected queue manager.

MQ Columns

  • Queue Manager
    The four-character subsystem name of the Queue Manager.

  • Queue Description
    A text description of the function or purpose of the Queue Manager.
    If the description is truncated, scroll the panel to the right to display the full description.

  • Active %
    The percentage of the monitored period where CA MAT detected active program code to be executing to process an MQSeries call.

  • Wait %
    The percentage of the monitored period where CA MAT detected an MQSeries call waiting for resources.

  • Total %
    The sum of Active and Wait percent values.
