CA InterTest server functions are based on two types of users:
CA InterTest administratorUsers with administrative privileges to define, modify, delete, start and stop servers. Administrators can also update server definitions or export server settings.
CA InterTest userUsers with privileges to import a server file that has already been defined and exported by a CA InterTest administrator, and to define, modify, and delete servers. For more information on these tasks, see the Servers view.
The Servers view appears differently for different types of users. This chapter discusses the server functions available for a CA InterTest Administrator. For a CA InterTest user, the Servers view shows only the Password/UserID Reset button and the Refresh status button. The server functions provided in this chapter do not relate to a CA InterTest User.
