Import a DSN List

You can import a data set contained within an existing DSN list when you are specifying data sets when creating or updating a new DSN list. Use this feature to quickly assemble a DSN list based on the contents of other DSN lists.

Follow these steps:

1. Click Import from the Create DSN List dialog or Update DSN List Properties dialog.

   The Import DSN List dialog displays.

2. Specify the DSN list you want to import. Do one of the following:
   • Select DSN List view, and then select the DSN list that you want to import from the drop-down list.
   • Select DSN list data set, and then specify the DSN data set and member name.
3. Click OK.

   The contents of the specified DSN list are imported into the DSN list you are creating or updating.
