Edit a Member or Data Set

You can use CA File Master Plus to edit the contents of a data set or PDS member in your Directory List view. This function is available for VSAM and sequential data sets and for members in PDS data sets. You can also open data sets, including those not listed in the Directory List view, by selecting Open from the CA File Master Plus menu.

Follow these steps:

1. Open the Directory List view.
2. Right-click the data set or member you want to edit and select Open Editor.

   The editor pane opens on the right side of the screen, displaying the contents of the member or data set you selected.

Note: You can have multiple members or data sets open for editing at the same time. The tab at the top of the editor pane contains the name of the member or data set you are editing.
