You can rearrange the placement of views in the main window any time by dragging and dropping the view to a different location. This action is called docking.
Follow these steps:
The following cursors indicate where the view docks in relation to the view area beneath the cursor when you release the mouse button:
Docks above the view that appears beneath the cursor.
Docks below the view that appears beneath the cursor.
Docks to the right of the view that appears beneath the cursor.
Docks to the left of the view that appears beneath the cursor.
Docks the view in the same pane as the view that appears beneath the cursor. The view displays as a tab in the pane.
Detaches the view from its location in the window. To reattach the view, click the tab of the detached view, and drag the view to another location in the window.
The views are docked to the new positions in the main window.
