Browse an Object

When you browse an object, the object data is populated in the Data Window in read-only mode. In the read-only mode you can do the following tasks from the Data Window:

• Rearrange the columns position in the table.

• Sort the columns data in ascending or descending order.

• View the properties of a column.

• Search for a record.

Follow these steps:

1. Double-click an object from Data Source Explorer.
   The Layout-Filter dialog appears.

2. (Optional) Specify the following search criteria to apply a filter on the object.

   • Column Selection

   • Where Clause

   • Order By

3. Click OK.
   The object data is populated in the Data Window in read-only mode.
