Log in

After starting CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS, you can log in to the application to access DB2 data. Ensure that you have a valid CA License Management Program (LMP) key before you log in.

Follow these steps:

1. Double-click the CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS icon from the desktop.
   A Login dialog appears. If the Login dialog does not appear, click the blue circle and arrow icon from the Data Source Explorer window.

2. Complete the following fields:

   • User ID
     Specifies the mainframe login user identifier.

   • Password
     Specifies the mainframe login password.

   • Host
     Specifies the z/OS host name of the Tomcat server.

   • Port
     Specifies the connection port number of the Tomcat server.

   • Preferences
     Specifies the DB2 connection preferences to be used for every login.

3. Click Login.
   You are logged in to CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS. The host and all the active DB2 subsystems within the host appear in a hierarchical fashion in the Data Source Explorer view.

To log out from CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS, click the red circle icon from the Data Source Explorer.
